We are back from our vacation to Vegas and just wow, oh the sensory overload! It is an incredible place to be sure and so much to do. I did get a chance to stop into Stitcher’s Paradise and met the nicest people. It wasn’t a huge store, but it sure did have a lot packed into that space. I was completely overwhelmed by so much selection. Be sure to stop by if you get a chance as you will not be disappointed!

This week marks the last week for the Fat Quarter Shop’s Haunted Halloween quilt along.

I just finished my quilt top using the instructions from the link above. I added my own flair to it by adding eyes to the cat and bat as well as appliqueing the pumpkins and ghosts to the windows and door of the haunted house. I cut the borders slightly larger so I could trim down after sewing them on. Don’t forget to set your seams and use lots of pins on your borders. You want to keep them straight.

I hope to have it quilted and bound by next week so you can see the finished wall hanging. I sure had fun sewing this one together and I hope to see what everyone who sewed along did by showing it on our social medial platforms.
