Today, I want to pay tribute to my little dog Sidney who left this world on July 15, 2025. I know this is not my regular blog post about sewing, but this little dog gave me 15 years of comfort and love. He deserves a spot on this page as he was the most gentle, loving little dog and had all the patience in the world waiting for me to finish a piece I was sewing on to go for a walk. He was all of 6 lbs, but his heart was as big as anything. He defended our house by barking whenever someone walked by so we would know someone was there. He was beyond loyal.

I cannot tell you the depth of emptiness we all feel in this family by his departure. Thank you, Sid, for being there for us.
