Order Pickups and a Birthday Bundle Sale

I hope you are keeping busy with your crafts as well as fully enjoying the summer and all it has to offer. We have two big announcements to make. First, you can now choose the option to pick up your order even if you live outside of Sarnia. At the check out process, you go to pay, you will have a few different options for either local delivery, delivery outside the Sarnia area or you can choose to pick up your order from the shop. You will choose a time (shown in hourly increments, starting at 10AM and ending on at 5PM for weekdays, 3PM for Saturdays) of when you will drop by to pick up your order. Also, local deliveries now have a date (only the day, not a specific time) for you to choose when your order is delivered. A demonstration on how this function fully works will be in our next video. If you have any questions, you can email us at sales@drunkardspath.com or call the shop at 519-871-6418.

This week is my birthday week so what better way to celebrate than with a sale on all Fat Quarter bundles and Fat Eighth bundles as well as Layer Cakes. So, from this Friday, July 21st until the following Friday, July 28th these items will be 20% off.

"What can you do with a Fat Quarter or Fat Eighth bundle?" you say. Well, stay tuned for our next sew along that is coming up very shortly that utilizes those precuts. It will take place over several months and where I will show you different techniques for blocks that may look hard but taken one step at a time will have you sewing like a pro.

In closing I would like to show you my cross stitch finish (Sunflower Bee on 32 ct. linen) and my completed quilt top from the Summer Memories book. I had lots of fabric left over so I made an 18" pillow that goes along with the theme of the quilt top. I am having so much fun with this book as it has it all – quilts and cross stitch! I have even started the Shining Sea cross stitch small from the book, so my summer is pretty much mapped out with one pattern book.

Until next time, keep sewing, keep stitching!
