Wow, how a week can change things in a person’s life! As many of you have heard, we have a new member of the family. Miss Theia Anna made her appearance last Wednesday and my daughter Alyssa was just thrilled to finally hold her daughter for the first time. It truly is a miracle to be close by when a new life comes into the world, especially when it is your grandchild.

This week was not too productive as far as sewing goes but I did manage to make a small project as well as get some cross stitch done. I finally got out my Lori Holt Spelling Bee pattern book and made baby Theia a small wall hanging. What an excellent book that is! You can use it for names, holidays, birthdays and the list goes on. This book has so much to offer – 6" letter blocks as well as 12" letter blocks so you can choose what suits your needs. I will be putting in an order for a few of these books shortly and will keep you posted when they arrive.

I am waiting on a few fall and Christmas quilt kits to arrive so as soon as they do, I will add to the web site. They are very cute!! I just love any holiday 😊
