The Start of a Stitchy Summer

It’s finally getting warm around here so it's time for some hand sewing. I know everyone wants to be outdoors these days but don’t let that stop you from being as creative as you are sitting at the cottage or on your back porch😊. Try your hand at some English paper piecing. There are many resources online, or maybe your local library, to see how to do this technique. It is very relaxing and you will be surprised at how quickly you can get pieces done. A lot of Jen Kingwell or Tula Pink patterns are excellent for this method.  You can pick up the templates to cut out your fabrics and grab some scraps and you are on your way!

There are many ways to enjoy hand stitching so give a few a try. Most of you know my favourite is cross stitch. I can pack a small bag with my materials and I’m off to wherever to fully enjoy being creative.

As always, thank you for your support,

Keep sewing, keep stitching
